How do I enter?

It’s simple! Reach out to us via DMs (@lakesideliveca) or email us at branding@lakesidelive.ca. From there, you’ll have to send an etransfer to lock-in your place and receive an entry ticket from us. Upon arrival, you’ll have to notify the gate attendant that you’re part of the pong tournament and they’ll guide you from there.

When does the tournament start?

The games start at 4:15 pm sharp! We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to check your team in and get settled in with a drink. Teams more than 10 minutes late will be automatically disqualified.

What are the prizes?

This is why you’re all here! To make today even more special, we’ve decided to give away $1,000 in cash prizes to the top 3 teams, as well as free VIP Ticket Upgrades! The prizes are broken down as follows:

  • First Place:

    • $600 Cash

    • 2x VIP Ticket Upgrade

  • Second Place:

    • $300 Cash

    • 2x VIP Ticket Upgrade

  • Third Place: 

    • $100 Cash

    • 2x VIP Ticket Upgrade

What are the game rules?

  • Consumption of alcohol is voluntary, and all cups will be filled with water.

  • Each partner must shoot at least once per round – no double shots for one player!

  • Trickshots are claimable only if the ball remains on the table. Once the ball hits the floor, the play is dead.

  • Trickshots must be different every round.

  • No air ball rule in play.

  • When a ball is still spinning inside the cup, players must use only their fingers to retrive the ball prior to it hitting the water. No blowing into the cup is permitted.

  • Accidentally knocking over a cup, to the point at which any liquid is spilt whatsoever is a loss of that cup.

  • Grenade is a maximum of 3 cups.

  • One island call per player per game (i.e., 2 per team).

  • One rearrange per game, cannot rearrange on redemption.

  • The referee gets the final say.

Term Definitions:

Grenade - When 2 balls land in the same cup within the same turn

Island - When there is a singular cup not touching any other cups it’s referred to as an “island”

Finger - Using only your fingers, and without otherwise touching the cup, scoop the spinning ball out of the cup before it touches the water. If a ball is found to be wet, it will count as a sunk cup.
